Although the new school year is only three days old, both the boys and girls soccer teams have had their first practices. It's exciting to see how energetic and enthusiastic the students and the coaches are about this season. Both teams still have room for a few extra players, so if you are interested please come see me or one of the coaches about getting a permission form to play. If you are playing and have not returned your permission form please bring it to school ASAP so that you are eligible to play in the first game on September 17th. I have also posted a new (hopefully easier to understand) schedule under team schedules on this blog.
Cross Country is also starting up for students interested in grades 4-7. Practices will be held Monday to Thursday during lunch break. Two meets are scheduled for Thursday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 26 at Bud Miller Park. If you are interested please talk to me or Mlle Forcier for more information. The cross country permission form is posted under team schedules on this blog as well.
